Three college friends – Arjun, Mayank and Ravi – are partying and they are accompanied by their girlfriends – Varsha, Riya and Anjali. Mayank and Ravi spot Maya exiting the party and they follow her with an intention to rape her. But before they can rape her, Maya gets grievously injured in the basement. Varsha, Riya, Anjali and Arjun reach the basement and on hearing them approaching, Arjun and his friends run away from there. The person who approaches Maya is Sultan and she reveals the name of her friends to him before breathing her last. Assuming that they are responsible for her death, Maya’s friend Sonam swears revenge. She joins college and is hell bent on killing the guys one by one.

Sajad sheepishly passes the photo to his friends. They admire her beauty one by one. But when it reaches Arayan he receives a bolt from the blue. For the picture is none other than that of Mahira - the only person in Aryans life who was the cause of his happiness as well the reason of his tears.
The year is 1954. In a small village, the people of Mahato Tola community didn’t know how to light the kerosene lamp in which paraffin is used. Godhan (Amitosh Nagpal) is the only person of the community who knows how to light the kerosene lamp. But Godhan has been treated shabbily by the panchayat and hence he might not oblige. Godhan’s maternal relatives had left him property in the village but the panchayat didn’t allow him to have it transferred in his name.
